Do you remember the first time you watched a horror movie? The dimly lit room, the eerie silence broken only by the creaks of the house settling, and your heart pounding in your chest as you clutched a pillow, hoping it would shield you from the terrors on the screen. For many of us, the horror movies of the 70's and 80's were our first foray into the world of fear—a realm where masked killers, supernatural forces, and grotesque creatures lurked in the shadows. This year, at Graham Creek Nature Preserve, we invite you to face those fears head-on at our Haunted Forest event, "Slash and Rewind."
Are You Ready to Face Your Fears?
As the nights grow longer and the air turns crisp, "Slash and Rewind" beckons you to Graham Creek Nature Preserve. It’s an invitation to step back in time and confront the phantoms of your past. Will you cower, or will you rise to the challenge and walk through the darkness with newfound courage?
Join us, if you dare, and discover whether you can overcome the childhood fears that still linger in the recesses of your mind. Let the forest be your proving ground, and let the echoes of the past remind you of how far you've come. This Halloween season, it's time to face the fear, embrace the thrill, and slash and rewind through the haunted memories that shaped us all.

I go every year and it’s great every time! Actors are committed to their characters and the set up is awesome! The woods make it extra creepy!

Very scary
I go every year. They put on a great show. It's always creepy walking through the dark woods. But the scenes and actors are spot on. I definitely recommend for a great scare!!!

We had a group of 6 and it was scary at times because the actors followed you and surprised screamed at you.

Gram creeks haunted
First off all staff was extremely polite and friendly and the atmosphere was peaceful and the trail was really cool I grew up in the 80s so the theme was really cool for me. I will definitely be looking forward to next year. I rate this place a 10 out of 10. Thanks for a great night

Frightfully Fun
We were terrifically terrified. Lots of screams but mostly the best memories and laughs when we got through. The actors were great! It was so great being outside and not stuck inside a building. The creativeness was really good as well.

Interactive & fun
The actors were very engaged & kind. A teen in our group was so scared she cried & they made sure she was okay. It was such a fun, safe, exciting walk through the woods. Really put us in the mood for Halloween!

I dont want to spoil it but this haunted forest is long which I appreciate. There are so many details and so much variety. Plus every scare is perfectly timed
